Handcrafted Soaps

Our soaps are made using the traditional cold process method to achieve a long lasting, mild, and fragrant bar of soap for your daily bathing pleasure.   We start with carefully selected premium oils, butters and natural additives.   Olive, Rice Bran, Sunflower, Avocado, Coconut, Grapeseed, Sweet Almond, Hempseed, Evening Primrose, Borage and Castor oils are staple ingredients in our formulas.

Rich, creamy, unrefined (which retains the highest amount of skin-loving nutrients) Fair-Trade African Shea Butter is also used in each batch.  Several soaps also contain Cocoa and Mango Butters.  Herbal teas, Aloe vera juice and even freshly brewed coffee are some of the liquids we use in our soapmaking process.

Nature has provided us with a rich bounty of herbs, grains, roots and seeds that we use to further increase the skin benefits and add textural interest to our soap.  Some of our favorites are Organic Oats, Rosehip Seed Powder,  Poppyseeds and Citrus Peel Powders.  Additionally, we use some of these same ingredients as natural colorants.

The soaps are made in small batches, then cut, trimmed and packaged all by hand - making them unique.   We individually wrap all of our soaps to protect and preserve their fine quality.  In making our handcrafted soaps, the natural glycerine is retained for its moisturizing and emollient effects on the skin. In most commercial soaps, this wonderful ingredient is removed and sold to companies to be added to lotions and other products.  The glycerine is replaced by detergents and other fillers.  And this is what you have been washing your skin with . . . until now!

With our handcrafted soaps, you will be able to tell the difference - from the luscious lather, to the wonderful fragrance, to the softness of your skin. Start treating your skin better today - with Diva SpaWorks Handcrafted Aromatherapy Soaps!
